Legit Check uses your photos to estimate an item's authenticity and value. These results are estimates, not guarantees.

Your account

When you sign up, we use your email address for sign-in and account messages. We save your display name, account ID, and the number of checks you use each day to provide your account and enforce the free daily limit. Sign-in sessions are kept on your device so you can stay signed in.

Photos and AI checks

Photos you choose are resized in your browser and sent to our AI service to produce a check result. We do not add your uploaded photos or check results to your profile or keep a history of checks in the app. The AI service may process requests according to its own service terms.

Ads and payments

The ad areas currently show placeholders or sample promotions; no third-party ad network is connected. Premium subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which receives the checkout information needed for payments, taxes, and subscription management. We store your subscription status to give you Premium access; we do not store card or PayPal details.

Your choices

You can change your display name on My profile after signing in. If you do not want a photo analyzed, do not upload it. You can sign out from your profile page.

This policy should be reviewed and updated before public launch, especially when real ads or payments are added.
